So the question is simple. What do I wear with those bright colored skinny jeans? You see them everywhere now but not everyone knows how to pair them correctly to keep it from looking too tacky or tacky overall. Here are some tips:
1) Do pair them with a simple long cut graphic tee. For example, bright red skinny jeans would look hot with a solid black or white graphic tee.
2) Do pair them with a solid color tank top or one with simple patterns with a complimenting color.
3) Do NOT pair bright skinny jeans with a bright top. Example, do not wear yellow jeans with a neon green top. That is a hell no in my book. Plus its common sense.
4) Do NOT wear a glitter or sparkly top.
5) Do wear them with heels, flats, or flip flops of a complimenting color.
6) Do NOT wear them with big sneakers. They make you look like you have clown feet.

And below is a bright skinny jean no no, haha. There is just too much representation of the color in the wrong way. If your shirt has some colors that match your jeans, that’s fine. But if you are wearing bright pink jeans and a huge bright pink belt in the high middle part of your stomach, well I just don’t know about that.

i was in california a few weeks ago and bought bright orange skinny jeans for twleve bucks at a wholesale market! (i would have getton light pink but they only had size sevens and I wear ones. i also bought a belt with rainbow studs and stars for two!) check out flea markets – they have deals EVERYWHERE!
its like NOTHING goes with orange! i would wear a solid white tank but its in the dead of winter right now, so what would be a good top?
Thanks for your comment Diana. Your right, the best things to match bright skinny jeans in the dead of winter is hard to figure out. Specifically because in the winter, super bright colors are not typically considered in season, but a folks still wear them. A good example would be this outfit that I saw a woman wear downtown shopping in sf and she looked great! But let me say this first, it takes guts to wear bright colored jeans, so take into consideration this outfit: She wore red skinny jeans…black high heel boots, and a fitted v-neck black sweater that reaches past your hips. I would then top it off with a black fitted jacket, not bulky. Black matches everything and it toned down the brightness of the jeans. Think of the jeans as the accessory to add pop to your wardrobe, and not necessarily the center piece of the outfit…that’s usually what makes putting together an outfit difficult.
