Women’s Hairstyle and Haircut Trends for 2009

Can’t seem to find a good look for the rest of ‘09? Check out some of this year’s hairstyle & cut trends.

For Short to Midlength Hair:

Sure it sounds boring, but check out how these women sex it up. You can do the same by giving your hair a bit of a bed head style or adding some uneven fringes. You can also ask your stylist to give you layers, angles, or thinning the edges to soften the look.

For Short Hair:

The Pixie Cut/Crop

Not everyone can rock the pixie crop. What I’ve learned is that if you have an oval or heart shaped face, or one with a defined facial structure you may be able to pull it off much more easily than someone with a round face. The pixie crop is daring and bold. You reveal more of your face and neck, allowing yourself to hide behind nothing.

Love her or hate her ladies, you have to admit she can rock anything her hairstylists gives her. She’s gone a long way since her brown long curly locks! Black hair definitely is the best color for her and her facial structure can carry a pixie cut. Long hair on her just overwhelms her face and personally I think it over emphasizes her forehead. Which style do you like best?
